My Story

I’ve always been creative and loved working with nature, so this is the dream job! It had always been on my mind, then after my OE I jumped at the chance to study floristry here in Christchurch. I worked in a local shop, always learning and taking in what I could. Then a few years ago I started Ahoy Designs so I could use what I had learnt and take my creative side further. Since then weddings and events have become my main focus. Working from home in my studio means I can give them the time they deserve and need.  I live by the beach with my Partner Owen and my Little girl, but travel South Island wide to style weddings and events…

And why the name Ahoy? Well that's a nod to my other love of ships and the water...
